So, it was a really weird summer(it was autistic burnout, and it was in 2017 too). I have a referral for a full autism diagnostic exam, which can take months to complete and years to get into. Everyone in my state is busy or not taking adults. In the meantime my therapist is treating me as if I'm autistic, because the traits are so visible to him. It's nice to have my life and inner world suddenly make sense. I felt like an incomplete lego build before, but now all the pieces fit.
